Valentine (Pink) Sticky Buns

We are doing a Valentine themed activity every day until Valentine’s day.  February 1st we put up and decorated our Valentine tree.  February 2nd I made an easy bread machine sticky bun recipe, added 6 drops of red food coloring and enjoyed Valentine sticky buns–Yum!

They were the color of cotton candy.  I looked for a similar recipe online and didn’t find one, but adding the food coloring to any recipe should work.  I also thought about making cinnamon rolls and just making the frosting pink.  I just love to make things festive!

If you have a good recipe for sticky buns ( I don’t have a bread machine:) I would love to know it! I am a huge fan but also hugely untalented sadly!:)

I’ve made that same bread machine recipe before – so yummy! Mine just didn’t turn out pink, lol. Maybe I’ll try that. Or hey, we could do green ones for st. patrick’s day next month…

Ha ha! I have totally thought about playing with green for St. Patrick’s day. With a last name like “Irish” we gotta go all out for “Irish Day” too!
