Tampa Bay CityPASS

Make the most of your time in Tampa Bay, Florida with CityPASS! On all of our family trips to Florida, we try to make it to Tampa Bay, but this was the first time we saw so much more of Tampa Bay thanks to CityPASS! Included is admission to five attractions:

Busch Gardens Tampa Sky Ride View

Busch Gardens Tampa Bay

Visit Tampa Bay provided my family with four Tampa Bay CityPASSes. Additional expenses, I paid for myself. As always all opinions are my own.

Busch Gardens has long been our favorite theme park for thrill rides since our first family trip to Florida. Now, the kids beg to spend at least a day there on every Florida vacation. We were thrilled to find out that the Tampa Bay CityPASSes include tickets to Busch Gardens!

2020 Tampa Bay CityPASSes run $109 per adult. That is the price of a regular, non-discounted adult ticket to Busch Gardens! Even though there are discounts available for Busch Gardens at non-peak times of the year, we still felt like we received tickets to the other attractions practically free. CityPASSes are a phenomenal deal!

As always, we had a blast riding roller coasters until we were completely exhausted! See my full blog post of all our fun here: Busch Gardens Tampa

Florida Aquarium

The Florida Aquarium

We planned to arrive at the Florida Aquarium when it opened, and we were so glad we did. There is so much to see! We began our journey at the Wetlands Trail. It is inside an incredible glass panel dome filled with birds, alligators, otters, and more.

Florida Aquarium Fish

We saw so many beautiful and interesting sea creatures. We even saw a garden of eels! The interactive area where the kids could touch stingrays was a huge hit. Plan ahead because there is even a rainforest-themed outdoor Splash Pad and 2-acre water play area! There is even a 4-D theater to enjoy. You can easily spend an entire day at The Florida Aquarium.

Zoo Tampa at Lowry Park What to see and do

Zoo Tampa at Lowry Park

Zoo Tampa is rich in history dating back to the 1930’s and has been in it’s present location at Lowry Park since 1957. The zoo began small with just a few animals, but has now grown to a whopping 56 acres! The Zoo offers educational programs, a slew of animal encounters, and rides! Yes, you saw that right: RIDES! We are a ride loving family, and I was so amazed at how many rides there are at Zoo Tampa that are included with an entrance ticket! See my full blog post here: Zoo Tampa at Lowry Park

Winter and Hope Clearwater

Clearwater Marine Aquarium

If you’ve seen the movies Dolphin Tale and Dolphin Tale 2, then you also know the stories of dolphins Winter and Hope who are cared for at Clearwater Aquarium along with a plethora of other amazing sea life.

Winter playing at Clearwater Aquarium

Winter and Hope are the stars, but they are just the beginning. Rescue is what Clearwater Aquarium does, and there are so many inspiring stories to learn of at Clearwater Marine Aquarium. It is a bit of a drive from Tampa Bay, but well worth it. Find additional things to do in Clearwater here: Getaway to Clearwater, Florida.

MOSI Tampa

Museum of Science and Industry

For the fifth attraction on the Tampa Bay CityPASS, you can choose between the Museum of Science and Industry and Chihuly Collection. We opted for MOSI!

Museum of Science Tampa

My boys were in their element as both of them love science and with the hands on activities they were really living it up.

Mosi Tampa Bay

And if you think MOSI is just for the little kids, think again! My teenagers had a blast as well. In fact, we all enjoyed ourselves as we dove into why things work the way they do by playing, playing, playing!
