Kids Giving Gifts

Do you see the presents under the tree?  I LOVE this.  My girls did this all on their own.  From the day we put up our tree, things kept appearing tucked under it.   They made some things.  Other items were beloved toys and do dads that they “wrapped” and placed under the tree.    Oh the joy on their faces on Valentine’s evening as they gave out gifts and oh the joy in my heart as I watched.

Good idea, have seen Christmas and Easter trees but not a Valentines one before. What is a “do dad”?

That’s interesting – I’ve never heard of a sweetheart tree before. Do you know where the custom originated?

Hi Rachel! This is how our tradition began: https://www.laughwithusblog.com/valentine-tree-2011/ I have seen that others do it too though so it’s not completely original! 🙂
