Bobby is! Yea! At thirteen months he finally walked across the room while my mom, and I were sitting in the living room chatting. Out of my five children he is my latest walker. Most of the kids walked right at 12 months. Then there was Grace who did everything early. She walked at 9 months just before turning 10 months.
Toys? Nah, we’re fine with shoes! Cracks me up the things babies would rather play with sometimes than their toys. When he’s not carrying some odd object around he yells, “Ba, ba,” until he locates one of his many balls.
He thinks he’s big stuff now! Besides walking he is also doing a lot more talking. He tries to say pretty much anything and has added many words to his regular vocabulary. When he’s not talking he’s jabbering so maybe this little guy will be a talker. We’ll see!
I am in the process of weaning him. I’m always weaned my babies at about this age, but I’m preparing for my upcoming trip to Peru so I’ve got motivation to get things rolling. I was glad Mom was here to spend some extra time getting to know Bobby since when I was at her house over Christmas he was sick the whole time.

I love the expressions on his little face. 🙂 He looks happy, nervous, surprised. Fun!
Look out world, here he comes! While it was a big milestone, it could have waited a bit yet 😉 Once they are fully mobile, there is no stopping them!
Walking and talking already????
Oh my ~ he’s growing up sooo fast!!
Hoping the weaning process goes smoothly….for both of you.
Already praying for your upcoming trip to Peru = )
What fun to be there to see his first walk across the room. I enjoyed so much being able to spend some time with the kids.
I can’t believe he is this old aready. I blinked and your baby is walking! Wow!! And I am praying about Peru. Excited for your opportunity 🙂
