For Faith’s birthday I loaded all the kids in the van and took them to Krispy Kreme for breakfast. We hit it at the perfect time because the “Hot and Ready” sign was on and we each received a complimentary hot original Krispy Kreme donut. It doesn’t get much better than that! Krispy Kreme is celebrating their 75th birthday so Faith was excited to get a birthday donut as well!
After breakfast we rented a movie and watched it together as a family. She asked to go to Taco Bell for lunch. She loves Mexican food of all varieties.
Faith requested Sopa, blue Jello, Pringles, Jalapeno Cheeseball, and pickles for her birthday meal. So far cooking for birthdays is pretty easy. Only Jason asks for meals that require all day cooking.
Dad came home with a balloon for Faith. When I saw it was Strawberry Shortcake I was a little worried. Faith has long since given up the Strawberry Shortcake cartoons, but she still acted like she loved it and was very appreciative!
I once again purchased a cheesecake. I keep saying I’m going to have to start making them. Friends tell me they aren’t that hard. I had the same fear of pies and realized they weren’t all that much trouble so…one of these days. You know, when I have a lot of spare time! 🙂
Faith had a great day. It is unreal to me how grown up she is becoming. At eleven she is only partly little girl now. In so many ways she is growing up and becoming a little lady. She is a huge help to me in taking care of her little brother. I look forward to see how God is going to grow her in the next year.

Happy birthday Faith! That was a sweet celebration!
Wow…I can’t believe how fast your kids are growing up!!
That sounds like a perfect way for a young lady to celebrate her 11th birthday = )
Happy Birthday, Faith!!!!
Happy Birthday to Faith 🙂
I can’t believe my oldest is 12 now. He looks so huge. Where does the time go?
