Much has changed this year, but I am so happy that Christmas Town at Busch Gardens is back! It’s one of our favorite places for a winter getaway, and this year was no different.

Busch Gardens Tampa provided me with 4 media tickets and a gift pack including two food and beverage sampler lanyards to enjoy Christmas Town 2020. All opinions are my own.
COVID-19 Enhancements and Safety
Busch Gardens is doing much to care for employees and guests alike. For instance, the number of guests in the park is limited and reservations are required. Purchase tickets first! Upon arriving, we quickly walked through a non-invasive temperature screening. We literally just walked through. There was no stopping each person and poking something at our heads!
Face coverings are required and enforced except when one is actively eating or drinking. We found hand sanitizer readily available all around the park. Also, social distancing was easy throughout the park as well. In buildings, tables were six feet apart from each other and rows were skipped between groups on rides. In addition, rides paused periodically for cleaning. We felt completely comfortable and safe enjoying ourselves at Busch Gardens! Christmas Town 2020
Busch Gardens Tampa Christmas Town is open from Nov. 20 – Jan. 3 and is included with park admission. The park is decked out with holiday decorations, lights, and music. While you are there, plan to meet and greet some of your favorite holiday guests like Santa, Ice Princess, and Sugar Plum Fairy. A day at Busch Gardens was just what we needed to get into the Christmas spirit!

Holiday Shows:
“Three Kings Journey”
I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed “Three Kings Journey” show located at the Dragon Fire Grill. Silently, I sang along with many of my favorite carols that tell the Christmas story.
“Christmas On Ice”
“Christmas On Ice” is bigger than ever! This fan favorite holiday show that features amazing ice skating is outdoors with plenty of room to social distance. I’ll never forget the first time we saw Christmas on Ice and look forward to it each holiday visit.
“Elmo’s Christmas Wish”
Kids or the young at heart can sing and dance along with favorite Sesame Street® friends during this fun open air holiday show.

Christmas Town Village
Christmas Town Village is holiday central at Busch Gardens. Opening at 4 pm, it’s where lights will dazzle you, food will entice you, and fun will consume you!

Holiday Dining
Trying holiday treats with our Busch Gardens Christmas Town Food and Sampler lanyards was probably the highlight of my day this year. Foodies we are!
The kids went for Frozen Hot Chocolate, which they loved, and were tickled that it was served with an edible straw! I mean, how fun is that! The Chocolate Brownie Explosion Bake was another of their fantastic choices.
Jason and I gravitated to the savory bites. Among our favorites were:
Impossible™ Chili with Fried Jalapeños, Cheddar Cheese, Sour Cream!
Smoked Pulled Pork Slider–Ale Cured & Smoked Pulled Pork, Sauerkraut, Mustard Sauce
Chicken & Waffles with Apple Butter Spread & Maple Syrup
Sampler lanyards are available for purchase. A 5 item sampler is $34.99 and a 10 item sampler is $49.99. Certainly I’m always one to make sure I’m getting a deal, so I would recommend purchasing the 10 item sampler for $49.99. Most of the savory items were $7.99. Treats and non-alcoholic drinks were in the $5.99-$6.99 range. If you drink alcoholic beverages, then that is where you will get the best value, as drinks I saw ran between $7.99 and $11.99.
We had a fantastic time making holiday memories as a family at Busch Gardens Tampa! I hope you are able to take some time away from every day life to spend making magical memories too.

Looking for tickets for my daughter and 3 older grandchildren.
They haven’t been out and about much. They love lights etc. Kinda put s everyone in the xmas spirit no matter how old you are.
We’re can you get tickets that are not that expensive. It would be a xmas present for them from grandma.
It’s been a crazy year and they deserve it.
Hi Barbara! We had so much fun, and yes, it was so great to get out of the house! We bought tickets through the Busch Gardens website. There are LOTS of great deals right now. Another great option is to buy Tampa Bay City Passes. Those are such a great deal on multiple attractions including Busch Gardens>>> https://www.laughwithusblog.com/tampa-bay-citypass/
