St. Patrick’s Day Activities for Children

It’s hard to believe this was four years ago!

I always look for fun things to help me celebrate St. Patrick’s Day at the dollar section in the stores.  This particular year I found these tiaras and sashes and decided we were going to have our very own St. Patrick’s Day parade!

We got ready, took pictures, and then set out on our adventure.  This is one of my favorite photos.  Joy wasn’t posing.  I just caught her being herself!  It was the prettiest Irish princess parade ever!  Originally I was going to surprise them by actually ending up at a restaurant in walking distance from our house, but a little way into our parade dark clouds covered the sky and the wind started blowing us around.  I didn’t want to end up stranded in a storm so we ended up coming home and driving to the restaurant.  It was a fun Irish Day activity!

I’m linked with Raising Homemakers.

I have to agree with Ginny Marie, it does remind me of Fancy Nancy! My daughter would love it!
