The Sparkie Regatta is a boat race put on by the AWANA clubs. Each child with the help of their father or another adult is to construct and decorate a boat for the race. This was Joy’s second year to participate. She was so excited and reminded her dad endlessly of the need to work on her boat. Her diligence paid off!
She was determined and loved every minute! Well, waiting between races was a little challenging.
She was so happy to win first place from her grade…for the second year in a row.
Yep, she’s my little go getter!

Aw! Congratulations Joy! Says a lot about her. 🙂
Congratulations to Joy! (And to her dad.) I love the picture.
You go Joy! Love that picture so cute!
Well, yeah! It is fun to win, yah know! And to get that super shiney trophy. 🙂
Wow! Now that’s really cool! Great determination in those eyes while blowing too…
YAY!! How fun 🙂 Congrats!
I was a Spark when I was younger! Congrats to Joy and Dad on their win!
Look at her face concentrating as she’s blowing! I love it!
