Snacking with Outshine Fruit Bars #RealFruitBar #shop

I am a member of the Collective Bias®  Social Fabric® Community.  This shop has been compensated as part of a social shopper insights study for Collective Bias and their client Nestle.

#realfruitbar #shop“Study hard,” I told the kids before their two hour quiet time, “because we’re reviewing our homework with Outshine Fruit Bars!”  It’s getting to be the end of October and school is no longer new anymore, so I try to jazz up review time every once in a while to keep the kids excited about learning.  This way they’re not just snacking, they’re snacking brighter!

Outshine Fruit Bars at Walmart #shopI found these all fruit bars in the freezer section at Walmart.  I couldn’t believe the variety.  I seriously had a tough time choosing.  The kids were not with me on this occasion.  I suspect had they been my decision making would have been easier as I probably would have just let each kid choose one.

Outshine Fruit Bars variety #shopSo I chose one for each kid anyway!  I really wanted to try every flavor!   All varieties of Outshine Fruit Bars are fat-free except the Creamy Coconut bars, and let me tell you the Creamy Coconut are worth it!  Yum!

OutShine Fruit Bars #shopOutshine Fruit Bars are made with natural real fruit or fruit juice, no high-fructose corn syrup and are gluten-free.  Many flavors are an excellent source of Vitamin C.  I always feel better about giving the kids healthy snacks.

Snacking with Outshine Fruit Bars #shopThe girls had fun getting the frozen fruit bars out and looking at them.  Deciding which flavor to choose first was a real dilemma!  After each one had chosen their flavor, we began our review.  Normally the girls are happy to let one of their sisters go first, but not this time.  I told them in advance that they could only take a bite of their fruit bar after they gave me a correct answer.  Suddenly there was motivation, and we went through our review in record time!  Why didn’t I think of this sooner?  I’m glad we have more for tomorrow’s review!

Creamy coconut is by FAR my favorite, but have you tried the banana? It is pretty fantastical too. Does help that those are the ONLY two flavors my kids will NOT touch, so they are always all for me!
