Quick and Easy Tex-Mex Taco Bowl Recipe

This is my go to  recipe when I need to come up with a meal fast.  It’s perfect also because it’s one of the few meals that everyone likes.

(I keep ground beef fried with onions and green peppers frozen in baggies by the pound.  So all I have to do is thaw 1 pound hamburger in the microwave.)

Heat 1 pound (previously cooked) ground beef

with 1 16 oz. can of Ranch Style Beans.

(I like to add a little chili powder.)

Then all I have to do is assemble the bowls.  This is my favorite:

Fritoes on the bottom

Meat & Beans

Cheese

Avocado

Green Salsa

Juice of one key lime

Our family is eating within 15 minutes!

Esther

Referring to my previous comment about “just not getting this blog post” – believe me, I’m all for quick and easy meals, but I just couldn’t see the humour in the menu. And then I saw the pictures – this is one funny-looking dish!

Looks delicious! I know ground venison would work well with this too. Thanks for sharing!

lol I wondered if some of you would find it unappetizing from the picture. Some one once said that Mexican food is one of those things you can’t judge from the looks of it! 🙂 Or I could work on my photography…
