Penguin Tour at SeaWorld Texas

As part of the SeaWorld Texas Wildside Bloggers I was invited to a Penguin Tour.  All opinions are my own.

I love the penguin exhibit at SeaWorld!  It is a favorite site of mine every time we visit.  I just love to watch the penguins play. Haven’t you ever wanted to just jump in there with them?  Me too!  I was so excited to be invited to a take part in a Penguin Tour.  SeaWorld Texas Penguin TourWhile we didn’t get in there with them for the tour, we were invited in the back through a side entrance where we could see them up close.  They are so cute!

SeaWorld Texas Penguin Tours up closeThe penguins were very curious and at least one was always coming right up to the gate that separated us from them.  We were instructed not to touch them here, but oh we could look at them and talk to them.

SeaWorld Texas Penguin Tours Pet a penguinWe were able to pet this little guy!  After just a few words of instruction on the proper way and places to pet the penguin, we had so much fun stroking his feathers and talking to him.

SeaWorld Texas Penguin Tours touch a live penguinHe was quite friendly and especially liked the things on the girls shirts.  There were lots of squeals as the penguin poked at their shirts with his beak.

The Penguin Tour is recommended for ages 8 and older, kids under the age 4 cannot participate due to safety restrictions. Children must be at least 4 years old to participate.

Ready to take your own Penguin Tour?  Admission to SeaWorld is required. Reservations are strongly recommended. Follow the link for details, park operating hours, and fees.
