A Child’s Thought About God
Sometimes the things my kids say make me laugh. Other times I am just amazed at the profoundness of their words. Joy, age six, was quietly sitting at the table doing her school work when she said, “Mom, God doesn’t catch us with a net; He catches us with His Words.” Then she went back to work. I don’t know how much more she pondered the thought, but I have thought about her words all day.

Wow, all I can say is wow! That is amazing.
Very profound. They see God so clearly. I wish we could all keep the kind of vision we have when we are children. Imagine how easy it would be to really live if we saw like that.

Kids have a unique way of making us humble! My 5 yr old does it everyday to me…visiting from undeservingrace.com I’d love to have you visit me!
She must have a gift of clearly verbalizing her thoughts — wouldn’t it great if we all had that going on. 🙂
What a clever thing to say!!! And yea, it’s also very cute! LOL!
What? Profoundness isn’t a word? I liked it anyway, kinda like terrifical! 😉
Isn’t it amazing how much we learn from out kids… they seen things so much more clearer than we do something or from a different perspective.
It’s amazing to me that God’s thoughts are so far above us that we adults struggle to make sense of Him, and yet a child can “get” Him so easily!
