I had my six-year-old sweep the floor for me a few days ago. The next morning she put her hand on her hip and pointing to the grass that was tracked in said, “What happened here? We just cleaned up this place!” Funny how you see things differently when you’re the one that did the work!

Made me laugh. Thanks. Our little girl is just two, so doesn’t quite grasp the concept. My dad said things like “money doesn’t grow on trees” and my grandfather said “it’s just as easy to fall in love with a rich girl as a poor one” so my role models in this department may not have been the best. Great men, don’t get me wrong, just not much in the life advice department.
Yay! Thank you for reading! You will obviously be leaving your little girl a legacy!
Haha I love this story! She is so adorable! Soon she will realize that a house-keeper’s work is never finished. You clean it up, then leave it for an hour, and when you get back it’ll need to be cleaned again. Just like a super hero! xD (If you’ve ever seen the Incredible’s movie! haha) So yes, house-keepers are like super-heros. Wow, where’d that logic train come from? haha
What a fun read! I love kids’ quotes. The best part about writing down your own? You’ll never forget and will even get to share with your kids when they are older 🙂
Thank you! I am hoping to put a book together for them someday. They are so much fun!
Love it!
