Knott’s Berry Farm Theme Park is 160 acres of fun to explore. With exciting roller coasters, rides for every thrill level, fantastic shows, and mouth watering foods, there’s endless entertainment for the whole family.

I was provided with two complimentary media tickets to enjoy Knott’s Berry Farm Theme Park. I received no monetary compensation, and paid for additional expenses myself. As always, all opinions are my own.

I’ve wanted to visit Knott’s Berry Farm since I was a child. My mom had great memories of going when she was young. At some point I was given a Knott’s Berry Farm T-shirt (pictured above) and was told that Knott’s was a theme park, and that they sold jams and jellies. Those two things together seemed like it had to be the most amazing place! That sealed the deal. From then on, I planned to visit one day!

For Faith’s senior trip, we planned a California adventure and were so excited to finally get to visit Knott’s Berry Farm Theme Park. I am thrilled to share with you our DO NOT MISS list for Knott’s Berry Farm!

Thrill Rides Galore
If you love thrill rides like my daughter Faith does, then you have to add Knott’s Berry Farm to your must do list. We planned our day just right. We arrived at the park before it opened and went from roller coaster to roller coaster before there were long lines!
While I’m not quite as enthusiastic about the extreme thrills like when I was younger, I decided in advance I wasn’t going to let my daughter ride everything alone. I did every ride with her except two and those were only because I had done so many in a row, I was a little dizzy! I was pretty proud of myself!
Among the roller coasters these were Faith’s 3 Favorite:
Silver Bullet
Silver Bullet at Knott’s Berry Farm Theme Park is a thrilling two minute roller coaster ride that includes all kinds of flips. With feet dangling, the inverted roller coaster then sends riders to a height of 146 feet before zooming back down! The first drop is 109 feet with the entire track extending 3125 feet! We loved the length, thrills, and great views!
HangTime
This surfing themed roller coaster is California’s first and only dive coaster! It sends brave riders up a 150-foot vertical lift hill, and then comes to a complete stop at the very top, leaving riders suspended for several seconds at a 60-degree angle before continuing on it’s 2,189 feet of steel track thrills.
Xcelerator-the Ride
No snoozing at the start! Hang on tight and be ready. This daring coaster jets out at 82 mph in 2.3 seconds as thrill seekers fly 205 feet into the air and then speed 90 degrees straight down!

Butterfield Stage Coach Ride
A first time experience for me was to ride a real stagecoach! There are six at Knott’s Berry Farm Theme Park, five of which are authentic, and get this: were actually used in the 1800s!! How fun is that?!

We sat inside the stagecoach, and it was such a neat experience! This was the only selfie we managed at Knott’s Berry Farm Theme Park with both of us in the photo–you know how I’m bad about that, but hey, I did get one! 🙂

Fantastic Shows!
You definitely don’t want to miss the shows at Knott’s Berry Farm Theme Park! The Wild West Stunt Show had us holding our sides, we were laughing so much. Filled with gun fights, fist fights, and lots of laughs, we loved this show. The Calico Saloon Show is my favorite of all saloon shows I’ve ever been too. The music and comedy were on point, and the ladies were modestly clothed. 🙂

Food!
Knott’s Berry Farm is known for it’s delicious boysenberry concoctions and Faith and I were not disappointed! The Calico Soda from the Calico Saloon is a must! It’s a delicious mix of I don’t know what all, but it’s GOOD, and is served in a take home souvenir cup!

Knott’s Chicken Dinner Restaurant
Before our trip, we were told by EVERYONE that had been to Knott’s Berry Farm, that we must eat at Knott’s Chicken Dinner Restaurant. What no one told me ahead of time is that the restaurant is not actually in the theme park, but just outside.
Trips to the restaurant from the theme park are common, and you just need to make sure to get stamped and keep your entry tickets, because you will have to get back in line and enter through the front gate, if you wish to reenter the park. As it turned out, we only had one day to spend at Knott’s, but if you have more time, you can make the most of your theme park tickets by coming back to eat at Knott’s Chicken Dinner Restaurant on another day or when leaving the park.

Y’all the Chicken Dinner here is all that! Chicken dinners are really not my favorite, go-out-of-my-way-for kind of meals, but here it’s done right and a must. Served with the meal is soup or salad. The chicken noodle soup was incredible! Also the biscuits served with real butter and boysenberry jam are to die for, and normally I don’t even like biscuits!!

Finally, choice of desert completes the best chicken dinner! I had to try the Boysenberry pie. It was fantastic as well.

It was a wonderful day start to finish at Knott’s Berry Farm. We loved the roller coasters, rides, shows, and of course the food! Now I just want to go back with whole family, and do it all over again. I see a California road trip in our future!

I’ve never been to Knotts Berry Farm and I’ve always wanted to go. All of those food pics are making me hungry. It looks like so much fun!

You had me at boysenbery pie and jam. The rides look great so my kids would love a great amusement park like this with some nice shows too.
I have so many special childhood memories of family time at Knotts Berry Farm. At the end of the day, we’d always save time to eat at their restaurant. Their fried chicken dinner is awesome!
This seems to be the general consensus! Everyone loves Knott’s and you have to eat at the restaurant!
We went to Knott’s Berry Farm many years ago. It was so much fun! My dad loved boysenberry, so he especially enjoyed it! I’m glad to know that it is still making people happy.
It is indeed a beautiful theme park. I just love going to this kind of places. Must be very exciting and fun.
