I Can Make Spaghetti in My Sleep–Or Not

So I decided to make spaghetti for the kids for lunch.  I suppose I was a little frazzled still helping Faith finish up her school work at the same time.  I boiled the water, cut off the end of the spaghetti noodles bag and then tried to pour the spaghetti into the water, only the whole plastic bag went in.  I was so surprised.  I burst out laughing.  There was my pot of water with my whole bag of noodles floating in it, bag and all!  I had cut the end off, but then failed to turn the bag over so the spaghetti would fall out.  How to boil spaghetti for dummies?  In all my years of cooking spaghetti, this was a first!

Lol. I do stuff like that ALL the time. But I get mad at myself for it, at least you can laugh about it. 🙂

how cute we all should laugh more at ourselves instead of being so serious all the time.

I have done this before too! I also sometimes forget when making mac & cheese to take the cheese packet out, yikes. Thanks for sharing, I needed a laugh 😉 Have a wonderful Saturday!

LOL There’s a first time for everything! I do things like frequently now but I think it helps us remember to slow down or pay attention…sometimes my mind isn’t on what I’m doing in the moment but ten things beyond that of what ELSE I have to get done!

BTW, how did the pasta spaghetti turn out? 😉

I love it! A few days ago I managed to break an 11″x14″ glass picture frame and spill 8 ounces of milk on the carpet within 20 minutes of each other…I love how you remind me to laugh at the drama. I am curious, though, did the bag melt?

You are NOT alone. I do things like that all the time. When I first started cooking – A LONG time ago…Someone jokingly told me to tell if a noodle was done was to whip one at the wall and if it stuck – Yep. It was done. My hubby came home and caught me throwing a noodle at the wall! HA HA! Ridiculous!!

Lol! I’m so glad I’m not the only one! There was one night that I got my grease jar out of the fridge to drain my ground beef. I ended up dumping all of the ground beef in the jar along with the grease. Who knows what I was thinking!

Once when I was making pasta I forgot to put the colander in the sink and dumped the entire pan of pasta down the garbage disposal!
