Easy Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Course
My teenage girls and I put together this super quick and easy Monster Trucks course for the boys to play with.
What you need:
- Card board boxes
- Sand
- Sidewalk chalk
- Spray chalk
We found the sidewalk chalk and spray Chalk in the toy department at Walmart.
In a shady spot in the yard or driveway open boxes and lay them flat to the desired size of your course. Add sand.
Shape desired mounds from sand. We also used a couple of bricks, but you can use anything you have laying around to add fun areas for the monster trucks to climb. Finally, add color to your course with sidewalk chalk and spray chalk.
Play!
Then just let the kids play! Racing, climbing, smashing the boys shrieked, laughed and played outside using their imagination.
My boys are loving all of their Hot Wheels Monster Trucks, but the Slinging Ink is their favorite. It has a flywheel motor that creates continuous wheel action for rolling over obstacles. Just rev it up and let go!
When smashing and crashing takes its toll on the course, just reshape and add more spray chalk if desired!

This is so fun! I love the idea of making a course for the kids to play on and get dirty.
Oh my goodness, what a fab idea! That would be so much fun, and I’d probably get down and play too!
So good to see the kids outdoors even in this hot Rio Grande Valley weather!
What a fun idea! Definitely better than crashing the trucks together in the house and breaking stuff/making tons of noise haha.
My little guy will have so much fun playing with this monster truck course. Actually, I’ll have as much fun helping him put it together. Now, we just need to go shopping for a few trucks.
Oh my son would love these toys. I’d love to create a jump with water under it!
This made me nostalgic. Our son had a bunch of those monster trucks when he was little and his late dad made him a course for his trucks too.
This seems to be so much fun for kids! I am sure mine will love this idea!
