Little Jason is four years old! It occurs to me that some day we’re going to have to quit calling him “Little” but for now I guess it’s okay! I took him to McDonnalds for lunch. My kiddos were all treated to chocolate dipped cones–yum!
He wanted a chocolate cake with chocolate frosting. I went ahead and made it for him against my better judgement. I’m sure I will continue to find chocolate cake all over the house for the entire month of October! He loved putting the sprinkles on the cake.
My girls decorated the table with things they had made for Little Jason as well as some of their toys. I just love that they get into the festivities and want to help make the day special. Me, well, I was quite frazzled on this day. I didn’t even finish putting the food around or get the extra, ahem, place setting off the table. Ha ha!
His meal of choice was….you know already don’t you? Yep it was SOPA. This boy of mine is a picky eater, but Sopa he loves! He also wanted cheese and crackers to go with his meal.
At four this little boy is still super sweet. He notices details whether on a leaf or around the house. He loves to laugh. I hear him in his room at quiet time by himself just laughing and laughing. He might just take after me a little! 😉 He spends the most time with his sister Grace. They get can get into quite some trouble together too! He keeps me laughing with his unique observations and word choices. We are so thankful for this high energy bundle of joy!

Happy 4th Birthday, “Little” Jason = )
Looks like he had an extra special day.
Mmmmm….chocolate cake with chocolate frosting….a chocoholics dream cake!!
I love how your kids get so into celebrating one another. That’s an atmosphere I hope to foster in my home. 🙂
That second picture has such a cute smile! It looks like he had fun!
Don’t worry about calling him little….I and my three younger sisters are still called the “four little girls” when the family refers to us, the youngest just turned 30 and I am getting close to 40:)
