Grace’s birthday fell on a Saturday this year. Since it is a day that Daddy is home all day we try to go some where fun. After much pondering we decided on iT’Z Family Food & Fun for lunch. Grace asked me to take her picture on this cupcake. I thought it was appropriate!
I LOVED this game when I was little. It’s still fun! My husband and my niece beat me though. I guess I’ve lost my touch.
And the meal of choice? Sopa! What-da-ya-know! She also asked for Coke and that was it. I love it when they’re easy on me!
The older girls wanted to decorate the table. They arranged a center piece and decorated the napkins. It was lovely to have my niece Andrea with us!
Andrea came to my rescue and make a bunny came from two round cakes. Isn’t it cute? My sister (her mom) made one like this for me when I was little and I always remembered it. It was my idea to put the candles all on one ear so she wouldn’t blow over the whole thing. My husband cut the cake and passed out the pieces. Wouldn’t you know I got that ear! I didn’t say anything though!
After we ate cake she opened her gifts. This is how we celebrate birthdays here. They are simple but fun!

I love the picture of her on the cupcake….very cute!! I used to try to put together huge parties for birthdays, but recently I have opted for simple birthdays too, and they are so much better! Happy Birthday to your little girl 🙂
Happy 6th Birthday, Grace! Looks like you had a fabulous and memorable celebration = )
I had one of those bunny cakes when I was little too! I LOVE the pic of her on the cupcake – so cute. Looks like she had a great birthday 🙂
My girl turned six recently too. We haven’t been able to have her party yet because there is SO MUCH going on, but we’re just having a family get-together next weekend and celebrating Father’s Day at the same time. Haha. Talk about two birds with one stone.
Love the cake!! Looks like you had a fun day with your family 🙂
