If you follow our social media, you know we recently took our family of seven on a dream trip to Florida and enjoyed all four Disney parks. This is a sponsored post written by me. All opinions are my own.

While we were at Disney’s Hollywood studios we had the opportunity to see an extended trailer for Disney’s new DUMBO, and we are all super excited about it! I’ve always loved the story of Dumbo.
My guess is that all of us have things about ourselves that we feel stick out to other people. For most of us we see those things about ourselves more than others do, but we’ve all been made fun of for our differences at one time or another. When I was little, I was exceptionally skinny and I heard about it everywhere I went. I was laughed at and made fun of. Literally strangers would stop and say things like, “Did you see how skinny that girl is?” as I walked by. I hated it!
I tried to hide how skinny I was by wearing baggy, oversized clothes. Sometimes I would even wear sweat pants under my jeans! In the story of Dumbo, he couldn’t hide his ears!! I love how the thing that caused him so much trouble ended up saving the day. It’s okay to be different and sometimes those differences are there for our good, we just need to realize it!

Disney’s DUMBO movie synopsis:
“From Disney and visionary director Tim Burton, “Dumbo” expands on the beloved classic story where differences are celebrated, family is cherished and dreams take flight. Circus owner Max Medici (Danny DeVito) enlists former star Holt Farrier (Colin Farrell) and his children Milly (Nico Parker) and Joe (Finley Hobbins) to care for a newborn elephant whose oversized ears make him a laughingstock in an already struggling circus. But when they discover that Dumbo can fly, the circus makes an incredible comeback, attracting persuasive entrepreneur V.A. Vandevere (Michael Keaton), who recruits the peculiar pachyderm for his newest, larger-than-life entertainment venture, Dreamland. Dumbo soars to new heights alongside a charming and spectacular aerial artist, Colette Marchant (Eva Green), until Holt learns that beneath its shiny veneer, Dreamland is full of dark secrets. “Dumbo” soars into theaters on March 29.
DUMBO opens in theaters THIS weekend! Make it a family night at the movies!
