We have long been fans of Medieval Times and visited the Dallas castle often when we lived in the area. Years ago, in my travel research, I came across Pirates Dinner Adventure Show which is a similar concept as Medieval Times only Pirate themed, and I decided, I had to see it one day!

I was provided with two complimentary media tickets to enjoy Pirates Dinner Adventure Show with my daughter. I received no monetary compensation and paid for additional expenses myself. As always, all opinions are my own.
That dream came true on the Epic California Trip I took with my daughter Faith for her senior trip! This interactive, action packed show was a blast!
Arrive Early!

Photos for purchase
We arrived about an hour before the show and that was perfect. Shortly after presenting our tickets and entering the building we were given the opportunity to have our photos taken. I love this! My selfie skills are not the greatest and getting a great picture to remember the occasion is my favorite type of souvenir!

We did manage a rare selfie though with our Pirate bandanas and necklaces. Ahoy Mateys!!

Appetizers!
After our photos were taken, we happened upon a man serving veggies with ranch. Yum! They were good, and I thought that would be all. We found a chair, and decided to just wait for showtime. While we waited however, servers with appetizers just kept coming! Besides the veggies, we also enjoyed Fried Mac&Cheese, little sausages in BBQ Sauce, Jalapeno Poppers, and bread with ham and cheese.

Pre-show!
As we enjoyed the last of our appetizers, the action began. The pre-show set the mood and gave us an introduction to the story of the main show. It’s an exciting preview of what is to come complete with pirates zooming overhead! You don’t want to miss the pre-show!

Dinner
After an array of appetizers during the pre show, the doors to the show opened, and we found our seats. After we were seated and the show began, we were treated to the rest of our four course dinner throughout the show. Pepsi products, lemonade, or tea are included with the meal. We were given a choice of soup or salad. After that came the main course of roasted quarter chicken leg & thigh, shrimp, mashed potatoes, and mixed veggies (carrots and zucchini). Last came the Double Chocolate Cake topped with powdered sugar and raspberry sauce!

Interactive Pirates Dinner Adventure Show
This is the most interactive dinner show I’ve ever been to. From the time we arrived at our seats, my daughter and I were both given tasks to perform during the show. We are not the ones in our family that usually volunteer, but it was fun to participate!

Throughout the evening we cheered for our designated Pirate in this classic tale of good versus evil. The action-packed story drew us in as we joined the adventure to free ourselves of Captain Sebastian the Black and his cronies.
It was a nail biting finish as we wondered if the beautiful princess would sway the handsome pirate from his dark ways in the Pirates Dinner Show. This spectacular night of adventure filled with sword “fights,” aerial artistry, and acrobatics is a boatload (ha) of fun for the whole family! Therefore, you definitely want to make plans to go on your next trip to California!

The show looks like it would be so much fun and a great night out for the whole family. I love the idea of a great dinner like this with the show.
I’m going to have to check this out. The pre-show activities sounded fun and the story of the show sounds really exciting.
