A Simple Birthday Party for My Joy

Joy’s seventh birthday fell on our swimming day.  We got up early and started her day with…Krispy Kreme donuts of course!  Do we see a pattern here?  Then I took them all swimming.  She was thrilled to take frozen fudge pops to share with all the kids and couldn’t wait until they all sang “Happy Birthday” to her.

For her special supper she chose Sopa.  What else?  🙂  She also asked for Coke and Pringles to go with it.

She chose cupcakes for dessert.  Frosting and sprinkling them might have been more fun that eating them!

Presents made the day complete.

I’m linked to Making Your Home Sing Monday and Homemaking Link-up.

Happy Birthday Joy! I love simple birthday parties instead of the crazy ones where I am stuck in the kitchen or being a host. I love the cupcake idea with the stand.. very cute. Oh, and now I am dying for soup!!!!

I love how she gets to choose her special dinner. When I was a kid we got to choose what we wanted for dinner and I always chose pancakes. I continued the tradition with my own kids. Love the cupcake tower! Thanks for linking up to Making Your Home Sing Monday!
