Funny Kids Quotes #3

My daughter, Joy, asked me, “Mom, what’s your last name?”

Now, you have to understand:  She asks a lot of questions.  I was in a hurry.  I thought the answer was obvious.  So I hurriedly spouted out, “Same as yours,” in a very mono tone voice.

“Sameasyours?” she asked laughing as if that was the funniest last name she’d ever heard.

I don’t know how funny this sounds in the retelling of it, but I have been laughing all day. I would not be surprised if she begins telling people that her mother’s name is Esther Sameasyours!
