After one of Joy’s basketball games the other girls asked if they could play next season. Once they saw how much fun Joy has been having playing they want in on it too. Now, Joy is just naturally competitive. I don’t know how much talent she has for basketball specifically, but she is a go getter and she’s going to do something or die trying. Her sisters…not so much, but I do think there is value in learning and playing sports.
As we were talking about it I wanted to stress that it wouldn’t matter to me if they weren’t as good at the sport as their sister. “What is important is that you go out there and learn and have fun!” That’s when I looked at my husband for support and asked, “Right honey?”
“Yeah, winning isn’t everything (pause) but losing is nothing,” he responded.
See what I live with? We both fell over laughing. I’m pretty sure that’s a line from a movie we’ve seen recently. I’m so glad for the laughter in our lives. We need the balance! 🙂

LOL. I’m glad he was able to back you up;)
Lol! That sounds exactly like something my hubs would say!!!
