When my oldest was only five, she loved to argue with me and try to prove me wrong. I did not usually argue foolishness with her, but at times I would get exasperated.
It was one of those times that I got down in her face, shook my finger at her, and asked, “Faith, do you think you’re more smarter than me?” The words that came out of my mouth shocked me to the core. I burst out laughing and may have even fallen to the floor.
Any wonder she still thinks she is smarter than her mother?

Oh my goodness! That is SO FUNNY.
Reminds me of the time my dad asked me, “Why is people stupid?”
Hilarious. But then, I’m often told that bad grammar is not an indication of intelligence!
Too funny….I will get irritated about the kids not listening and start to yell for them to do what they were told to do. Frequently, because I am flustered by that point, I will mispronounce words or say the wrong thing. My hubby thinks it’s hilarious and maybe it’s a way of breaking the tension, because it’s always funny.

Neither is good grammar 🙂 I think it is all over-rated shell gazing…you know…focusing on the exteriors instead of what really matters.
Ahh well we all make mistakes right?
