As a homeschooling family our “back to school” looks a little different from the average family. Yet we still take the summer off, and gear back up for the new school year. I can’t believe that is just in a couple of weeks!
Still, my growing kids will all need something in the way of clothes, shoes and school supplies. I try to anticipate the needs, buy a season ahead of time, look out for sales whenever possible, and buy as much as I can in bulk.
I take full advantage of our tax free weekend for anything I still need. In Texas this year our tax free weekend is in just a couple of weeks August 19-21. My favorite thing to do is stock up on diapers! We try to buy enough to last the entire year, literally making stacks of them in my garage. Oh how I love to not have to worry about running out of diapers and making additional trips to the store.
