I went to Walmart in search of some easy lunches for my husband to take to work! I found the Velveeta Cheesy Skillet Singles in the heat-and-eat section of the grocery store! For details on my entire shop check out my Google + album!
“You went out to eat again?” I asked my husband. Since he started his new job at the end of May, he has been so busy. He is always running! Though I try to have leftovers in the fridge for him to take to work, he is sometimes in such a hurry that he leaves without taking anything. Now, I don’t mind him going out for lunch if he wants to go. My only reservation is that I don’t want him going out for lunch so much that he doesn’t want to take me and the kids out to eat! That’s the real truth! Ha ha!
Velveeta Cheesy Skillets Singles are perfect because I can send some to work with him for those days he forgets a meal. They don’t have to be refrigerated and will wait patiently on a shelf for those busy days. That way he has no excuse right? I’m totally on to him!
I love the convenience of these Velveeta Singles. Not only do they not need to be frozen or refrigerated, they also are ready in a jiffy. You know how frozen meals take between five and seven minutes to heat in the microwave? These personal feasts heat in one minute!
Take them out of the microwave and stir in the liquid gold! Yum!!!!
Would you look at that cheesy goodness? I made this for my husband on Saturday when I uh…didn’t cook lunch! The kids had some leftover food so I made the Chicken Chili Cheese Mac for my husband. Oh it smelled so good I had to try it–yum! It was such an easy lunch!
Jason said the Chicken Chili Mac was really good. He’s happy to have something ready and waiting on those busy days!

My husband could use some of those for at work too! They look delicious!
Oh, yum! I think my Jason (that’s my hubby’s name too!) would love these! Pinning now 🙂
