Last week I had the wonderful opportunity of going to a dinner sponsored by Tiny Prints at which I was able to browse their Christmas card collection, learn from a local professional photographer some great tips about taking family photos, and meet other bloggers from the area.
Tiny Prints has so many beautiful Christmas Cards to choose from. This design caught my eye:
Love and Laughter–I wonder why? Which one do you like?
I have actually already purchased outfits for the kids, including a shirt for the baby, for their photo. I can’t wait!
I thoroughly enjoyed the great tips provided by J Clinton Photography. Here are the ones that I enjoyed the most:
1) Do wear coordinating colors. A classic look is perfect. Don’t have one in which you wear polka dots! Ha! That one made me laugh.
2) Don’t bribe your kids. Do make the experience enjoyable. Smiling, happy children are more important than a perfectly ironed outfit or perfectly styled hair.
3) Smile big! He said people usually are not smiling as big as they think they are. Test this in a mirror. Without looking, smile like you would in a picture, then look in the mirror. I had fun with this experiment!
Finally I had a blast meeting other bloggers. Besides my friends that urged me to begin blogging, this was the first time I ever met anyone from the online world. I especially enjoyed meeting and visiting with Amy from BloggingWithAmy.
I painstakingly followed each item of her tutorial to set up my blog. Without her, I’d still just be posting my stories on Facebook!

I’m impressed you’ll be doing the coordinating outfits w/ your pictures. No doubt, they’ll turn out great!
now all you gotto do is find 50 people to send it to 🙂
I really love tiny prints! Their catalog came in the mail yesterday so much great stuff in there!
I never tried Tiny Prints but will check them out next time I need cards.
Love the picture!
