Grace’s hair had begun to drive me crazy! It had crossed that line in length to where she would wake up with it tangled every morning. She didn’t like to brush it and she didn’t particularly like to have it brushed. Lately it had been more than once that I got to church, sat behind her, and realized we hadn’t brushed her hair. I don’t even carry a brush. If I run a brush through my hair in the morning, I call that good! I must not be the best example ahem!
Grace had originally said she thought she’d like to leave her hair long, but the last week I told her several timed I thought it would be best to cut it until she has a desire to take care of it. Yesterday she asked me if she could get her hair cut…and I loaded them all up in the van before she changed her mind! 🙂
The lady that cut her hair, was very sweet and gentle and made Grace feel very special! She put a few long layers in it to help keep it from tangling.
Tada! It will grow back, but for now it is much easier for her to take care of and…not so easy for her to chew on!

She looks really sweet. I think she will enjoy her new hair cut.
Adorable! She might learn, now, that she likes shorter hair better anyway 🙂 Very beautiful.
