July has been a world (world? I think I meant “whirl” here, but “world” is bigger right?)wind! We have enjoyed all of the summer reading programs and are rushing to get those last books read and hours logged so that we can claim our prizes. It will be back to the assigned school reading very soon!
Our family just got back from a road trip. I’ll be telling you about that soon, but the preparations and trip itself has kept us busy the last couple of weeks.
I’ve been thinking about blog comments. I don’t often reply after comments on the blog unless people ask a specific question. I suppose I figure people don’t usually come back and see if anyone responded to their comment. Maybe I’m wrong though. Do you check back after you leave a comment? In any case I love to interact with all of the friends I’ve made online at my community page. If you’d like to ask a question or just chat please stop by!
A huge thanks to my community leaders for July. I’d love for you to visit their blogs!
Dawn is the author of Daily Adventures of a Work at Home Mom. She shares tips about parenting, cooking and having fun with the kids. She is currently offering a scrapbooking software giveaway.
Shari is a Christian stay at home mom and grandmother. She blogs at Faith Filled Food for Moms about faith, parenting, step parenting, grand parenting, gardening, cooking, blended families, addiction, product reviews and everything in between.
Michelle is one of the friendliest bloggers that I have enjoyed getting to know. She blogs at Green Mother where she shares her tips and beliefs about being green.
OneMommy is a former teacher turned stay at home mom of two adorable children. She has not stopped teaching though as we get to enjoy so many of the wonderful activities that she is using to teach her pre-schoolers on her blog There’s Just One Mommy.

Sometimes I come back and check. Mostly I don’t. Depends on what my comment was 🙂 Not all comments warrant a response.
I always check! But you don’t have to answer me.
I used to check… Ha! Now I only check back if I’ve made a comment on one of Frieda’s posts… But after all this time I’m still reading (even if I don’t comment all the time)…
Well then, I should respond here more often! This is a test. Did you check back to see if I responded? Ha! No really, I will work on that! 😉
I don’t check back unless I’ve asked a question. One time I invited someone to dinner in someone’s blog comment section, so I kept checking back to see if she was coming to dinner. I finally tracked her down on Facebook, and she forgot to answer!! (She did end up coming over.)
