Little Jason noticed the back of the Taekwando uniforms. “A cross, Mommy!”
I had never really paid that much attention, but sure enough there is a cross on the back. “What do you know about the cross?” I asked him.
“Jesus,” he replied.
“That’s right!” I exclaimed. “What do you know about Jesus and the cross?”
“Jesus died on the cross.”
I was so surprised by his answers. Of course he has heard this before, but it surprised me that he was able to tell me about it on his own. He is just barely three years old! I continue to be amazed by the things they can learn at such a young age. Of course he doesn’t understand the concept the way I do, but we are building a foundation!

How sweet! I know the satisfaction I feel when I watch my children pray, it is a reward for all the hard work of raising children. Good job, Mommy!

Oh wonderful! They are so impressionable. That’s why it’s so important to start teaching them…in my opinion…from birth.
Wonderful. You really can’t start too young, that’s for sure!
I love the innocent understanding of a child that age! Way to go mom and dad!
How sweet!

Well done my friend, well done! It IS surprising sometimes to find that the teaching is indeed sinking in a bit, isn’t it?

What a sweet post! Way to go, Mom!
Out of the mouths of babes…we need to see life through their eyes, then maybe we’d see Jesus everywhere they way they do.
