Last Saturday I had the exciting opportunity to take two of my kids to Six Flags. I wanted to make sure and be there in plenty of time so we actually got to the entrance an hour before the park opened. As we were walking up to get our tickets I noticed a table set up to my right and a few people walking over there. Curiosity drew me.
“So what’s going on over here?” I asked the lady.
“Look at you guys! You look great!” Noticing my puzzled expression she added, “You are here for Global Smurfs Day right?”
“Uh…No actually I hadn’t heard about it.”
“You’re kidding! Well you guys look perfect! The first 200 people to come to Six Flags dressed like a Smurf get wrist bands to get into the park early! Here are your wristbands and can we please get your picture by our sign? Ya’ll look great!”
And so we walked past all of the crowds waiting in line and got into the park about 45 minutes before it opened. We experienced our first few rides with absolutely no lines. We didn’t even have to get off before going again!
And so that’s how we were at the right place, at the right time, in the right clothes. Unbelievable!
Our day at Six Flags in tomorrow’s post.

Wow! That’s exciting! I had a dream last night that I came to visit you. And, your kids were absolute angels. The weird part of the dream…you used honey to wash their hair and you had this stand with many, many bottles of honey on it. And your kids were all walking around with honey in their hair. And, you had a pet chicken that you kept in the house. Hmmm…very weird. I have the craziest dreams ever on a regular basis. Oh, and Little Jason didn’t know that his name wasn’t Little Jason. I’m a nut.
Ha! HA! That’s great! Love those moments.
He He, that is awesome!
How uncanny!!!!
I’m so glad for you and the girls, that you got to have that experience. I bet you talk about it for years to come!
(Oh, and I love the pic, too! Y’all are seriously cute!)
