I took three of the kids to Chick-Fil-A one afternoon for lunch. The other two girls were out doing something fun and I felt like treating the others kids too. Chick-Fil-A was their choice. We loved receiving coupons to go back for Chick-n-Minis!
I always try to talk to the kids when we sit down to eat a meal. If there isn’t already natural conversation happening, I start asking questions. On this day I wanted to hear from my youngest as well as keep him occupied as we dined out.
“Who is your favorite Daddy?” I asked him wanting to see if he would come up with Jason’s name.
“Uh…you!” he pointed to me.
“No, I’m not a daddy! Who is your FAVORITE Daddy?” It was about then that it occurred to me that some of the people nearby might be listening in and how my question might sound to them. Would they actually be thinking that I was trying to give one dad more points over another?
I looked around, but no one made eye contact. To be on the safe side I said, “Come on! You only have one Daddy. What’s his name?”
The man sitting beside us burst out laughing. I’m pretty sure he spewed some of whatever he was drinking all over the table. “I was keeping my mouth shut,” he said, “I wasn’t going to touch that subject!” Ha ha! How do I manage to get myself in trouble every where I go?
We are jump up and down excited to be working with Chick-fil-A in the next year as a part of their Mom Panel. We love Chick-fil-A and can’t wait to share with you all the latest from one of our favorite places! #ChickFilAMoms

You do get yourself into some fixes! I love it.
