As we drove up to Cabela’s in Fort Worth, Texas on Saturday the kids began shouting, “Taco Casa, Taco Casa!” I was looking the other way and didn’t see anything except parking lot. I told the kids they’d have to ask Daddy if they wanted to eat there for lunch. “No, Mom, it’s a party. I saw balloons.” I still had no idea what they were talking about until we walked up to the entrance. It was a party!!!
The Taco Casa van was in the entrance and there was lots of fun things to do!
There was a
bounce house uh I mean Shooting Education Range!
The kids practiced their BB Gun shooting skills!
Joy hit a bull’s eye! The instructor acted quite impressed!
Taco Casa gave away free sweet tea, chips and salsa, T Shirts and more as we listened to live country music!
Each of the kids also had opportunity to shoot wild animals with a Nerf cross bow!
I just love it when we happen on events like this that make it extra special for the kids. It was one of those, “This was the best day ever” kind of days. After spending a good hour with Taco Casa, we went into Cabella’s and of course Cabella’s is always an adventure.
The next day the kids begged us to take them to Taco Casa so we could all wear our new T Shirts, and yes we thought that would be great fun!
We caused quite a stir as all seven of us walked in wearing Taco Casa T-Shirts. It was hilarious to see everyone’s faces. Someone asked us, “Do you own the place?” Ha ha! Oh but that was right before the, “All they all yours?” of course! The staff, who are always really kind to us, smiled from ear to ear. I think a few were trying not to laugh. It was fun!
We love our Taco Casa shirts!!!

Taco Casa should have given you all free lunch for all that “advertising” you’re giving them by wearing their t-shirts & caps = )
