Taco Casa fun at Cabela’s

Fall Great Outdoor Days at Cabella'sAs we drove up to Cabela’s in Fort Worth, Texas on Saturday the kids began shouting, “Taco Casa, Taco Casa!”  I was looking the other way and didn’t see anything except parking lot.  I told the kids they’d have to ask Daddy if they wanted to eat there for lunch.  “No, Mom, it’s a party.  I saw balloons.”  I still had no idea what they were talking about until we walked up to the entrance.  It was a party!!!

Taco Casa VanThe Taco Casa van was in the entrance and there was lots of fun things to do!

Cabella's Daisy Shooting Education RangeThere was a bounce house uh I mean Shooting Education Range!

BB gun shootingThe kids practiced their BB Gun shooting skills!

Bull's eye shootingJoy hit a bull’s eye!  The instructor acted quite impressed!

Chips and Salsa at Cabella'sTaco Casa gave away free sweet tea, chips and salsa, T Shirts and more as we listened to live country music!

Cross bow shootingEach of the kids also had opportunity to shoot wild animals with a Nerf cross bow!

I just love it when we happen on events like this that make it extra special for the kids.  It was one of those, “This was the best day ever” kind of days.  After spending a good hour with Taco Casa, we went into Cabella’s and of course Cabella’s is always an adventure.

The next day the kids begged us to take them to Taco Casa so we could all wear our new T Shirts, and yes we thought that would be great fun!

Taco CasaWe caused quite a stir as all seven of us walked in wearing Taco Casa T-Shirts.  It was  hilarious to see everyone’s faces.  Someone asked us, “Do you own the place?”  Ha ha!  Oh but that was right before the, “All they all yours?” of course!  The staff, who are always really kind to us, smiled from ear to ear.  I think a few were trying not to laugh.  It was fun!

Taco Casa ShirtsWe love our Taco Casa shirts!!!

Taco Casa should have given you all free lunch for all that “advertising” you’re giving them by wearing their t-shirts & caps = )
