Sunday after the service I noticed Jason’s sunglasses left on the pew as he was leaving. “Hey Babe you forgot your glasses!” I called out to him and gave him my best smile. Later after we had ordered our lunch at our favorite restaurant, I noticed his sunglasses sitting on the table.
“This is a good way to lose these! Why don’t you put them somewhere else?”
“No, I’ll remember them.” He said.
“Ok then if you forget them you’ll owe me a hundred bucks!”
“No way.”
“Yeah, because you know I’m right!” I laughed.
“Maybe.” He said, and left the glasses sitting on the table.
We were driving separate cars that day since we had family staying with us. On the drive home I answered my phone.
“Uh…Esther? Did you…happen to get my sunglasses?”

I bet every woman in the world can relate to this story… I know I can!!!
Welcome to every. single. day. of my life. LOL
Hey… I resemble that remark!
But I WAS here! 😛
So cute 🙂 Oh that we can just keep enjoying the imperfect, forgetful, human side of each other and not end up frustrated. Much grace received, much grace given.
Blessed Marriage Monday,
Julie
