Stuffed Sausage and Cheese Biscuit Bake

Baked in a Bundt Sausage and Cheese Stuffed Biscuits

Bread, butter, sausage, cheese–all some of my favorite foods.  I thought I’d roll them all together in this Stuffed Sausage and Cheese Biscuit Bake!   Isn’t it pretty?  This is a perfect addition to your next brunch!

What you need:

  • 2 cans Homestyle biscuits (I used Great Value from Walmart.)
  • 1 tube Jimmy Dean Sausage, cooked and crumbled
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (I used Great Value Monterrey Jack.)
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted

Brown the Jimmy Dean Sausage in a medium skillet over medium high heat until it is brown and fully cooked.  Set aside to cool slightly.

Assemble the rest of the ingredients.  With a small knife cut a slit in a biscuit and gently open it to form a pocket.  Add about 2 tablespoons of cheese and 2 tablespoons of meat.

Gently squeeze together and seal the edges.

Dip each biscuit in the melted butter making sure to cover both sides.  Are you a butter lover like I am?

Then stack them in a greased bundt pan seam side up.  Do the same with each biscuit until they are all made and stacked in the pan.  Pour any remaining butter over the top of the biscuits.  I know. YUM!

Then bake in a 350 F. degree oven for 30-40 minutes until the dough is cooked through and the top is lightly browned.

Cook for about five minutes and then gently turn the bundt pan over onto a serving plate.

These are really easy to make! It just takes a little time to form the pockets, but they are so pretty to serve. My family all liked these Baked Stuffed Sausage and Cheese Biscuits.  Two of my kids LOVED them.  The buttery biscuits are so delicious.

These work great as a part of a bigger breakfast or brunch.  Serve with eggs and fruit or some of your favorite breakfast dishes or casseroles.
