We celebrated Father’s Day with a trip to How to Train Your Dragon 2 at Studio Movie Grill in Colleyville, TX! We had been looking forward to the squeal for a long time! A movie out is one of our family’s favorite activities.
We were a little early so we spent a few minutes
clowning around waiting on the comfortable bench seats in the lounge area. It was so nice to relax knowing we already had our seats, no mad rush to beat the crowd to the good seats! Oh and there are no booking fees for reserving your seats online. What a deal!
It gave us plenty of time to relax and peruse the menu. Right now they have a 2 for $25 menu that looks like a great deal on…REAL FOOD! Don’t get me wrong, I am a huge fan of theater popcorn, but I’ve made myself sick on it more than once because I went to a movie at meal time. I don’t recommend skipping a meal and gorging on popcorn. Your tummy will thank me! Here you can have your meal and your popcorn.
We had a great time at the movie. The consensus was that we all liked How to Train Your Dragon 2 but agreed that we liked the first one better. It is pretty hard to beat, after all!
