One day this week we took our whole crew out to eat at a cheap place. I stayed with the kids at a table while Jason went to get our food.
As he was walking to the counter, I noticed something stuck to the bottom of his shoe. Ha ha it looked like toilet paper, but I figured it had to be paper napkins.
In situations like this my mind somehow sees a whole comic play out that is at times funnier that what is actually happening. Maybe that’s why I seem to see humor in things that others do not.
By the time he was walking back to the table carrying our food I was in hysterics. The kids had all noticed and were looking to see what mom thought was so funny.
As Jason reached the table he looked kind of worried, “What’s the matter? What’s so funny?” All I could do was point. He reached down and lifted up…a sock! A stray sock had traveled with him from home and made it’s appearance right at the most opportune time to make me laugh hard enough to cause tears. Sometimes I think God orchestrates things like this just for me!

That is so funny! I would have been laughing too! I love laughing so hard it brings tears to your eyes! 🙂
Oh my word. I think the only thing that could have been funnier is if it was a pair of underwear. However, if I remember correctly, you already have an undies story 😉
LOL….at least it WASN’T toilet paper!
It is such fun to find things to laugh about together. I am glad it was a sock.
A sock! That is hilarious. The answer to the question about where single socks escape to.
I’ll go with Robin’s answer…
