I called the bank to transfer some money. Now I rarely talk on the phone, because the instant I do the kids all go nuts. I was on hold long enough to be completely at a loss when a person on the other end finally answered. I could not remember my social security number, phone number, or bank account number. I couldn’t believe she transferred my money anyway! I kid you not! No, I will not give you the name of my bank! 😉

Now that used to be the case where I live… I actually even knew the bank manager and my accounts manager personally, but now when someone calls saying they’re from the bank … well, can anyone say “phishing”?
My kids see a phone call as an opportunity to get wild. You should try online banking. You can transfer money in peace.
A person from the cable company got very nasty with me the other day when I asked her to verify that she was actually from Comcast after she called my home to offer me a change in service and wanted me to give her my phone number and social security number..I don’t usually give that information out to just anyone that calls!
Oh, I am so glad I am not the only one who can draw a complete blank on the phone. It has happened so often to me that anytime I think I might be on hold for a while I actually write all those numbers down before calling. otherwise, I feel like a complete dunce stammering away while frantically trying to jog my memory and keep the kids under control.
On the other hand, *I* was randomly selected by PayPal to verify my account. Ugh! I just sent several confirmation papers to them to clear up another account freeze. They are starting to tick me off!
If you knew it all she probably would have not transferred it. they crack me up sometimes
oh my gosh, this happens to me ALL THE TIME. whenever i get on the phone, my kids go nuts too. i’m rarely on the phone, and i swear my family thinks i’m crazy because i never answer their calls! i usually make phone calls while riding in the van around town, when they’re all strapped in. geez louise!
