#SoFabCon14 Where Bloggers and Brands Connect #LuvSoFab14

This post is my entry to the Collective Bias #LuvSoFab14 contest for #SoFabCon14.

#SoFabCon14

One of the best things I’ve done as a blogger is join the #CollectiveBias Social Fabric community.  As my readers know, I blog as a business.  Social Fabric does a wonderful job of bringing bloggers and brands together offering opportunities that benefit both, but they don’t stop there.  They build community, educate, and cheer us on as well!  Just by following Social Fabric guidelines, I realized so many things I could be doing better day to day with my website.  Blogging  is an ever changing industry, and I love that Social Fabric keeps me informed and up to date.

So you can imagine my excitement at the possibility of attending #SoFabCon14, a conference put on by Social Fabric.  Why I want to go?  First of all every blogger that I know that went last year raved.  I mean RAVED.  These are seasoned bloggers that have been to many conferences.  Time and time again I heard them say this was the best conference out there.  I’ve learned so much from Social Fabric already, but how much more I know I can learn from being there in person and being able to devote the time to gleaning and applying things that will continue to grow my website.

What the experience would mean to me?  Besides learning and growing my blog, being able to attend #SoFabCon14 would be a much anticipated retreat for me.  As a homeschooling mother of five I am rarely separated from my family.  This last year I have just felt very drained.  Thinking back I realized that six out of the last 12 months I was pregnant.  Twice I had a miscarriage at twelve weeks.  Also in the last 12 months my husband has been at three different jobs AND my teeth went crooked.  Ha ha, gotta add that!  So after a tough year, a three day trip of learning blogging and lots of much needed grown up girl time, without having to watch out for my kiddos, sounds like a dream!

After the conference, I will come home with so many awesome ideas.  I know I’ll need to set the time aside to apply them, but I also want share what I learn with others who can benefit as well.  What’s the fun in keeping it all to myself right?  I have been so thankful for everyone that has helped me along my blogging journey.

I think every blogger who would like to work with brands, would benefit from and be blessed by Social Fabric.  SoFabCon is a conference you won’t want to miss.  Social Fabric is giving away 6 all expenses paid trips to the conference.  This blog post is my entry, but there is still time for you to enter if you hurry.  I would love to win the trip to the conference.  Hope to see you there!

Esther

I really hope to see you there! It was a blast last year, but I want to spend more time getting to know you! Enjoying a funnel cake at Six Flags together was just not long enough. 😉

I hope you win a trip!

How much does the conference cost if a person has to pay?

Thank you @Heather and @Betty! I think the conference itself is around $200, but this would include transportation and lodging too. 🙂
