Snicker Salad (Kids in the Kitchen)

Snicker SaladThis is the perfect kids in the kitchen recipe for any child old enough to use a knife.  There is no cooking or baking, just chopping and mixing and the reward is so yummy sweet.  They feel  like they have created something wonderful, which in fact they have.  We love Snicker Salad!  I first had this in Nebraska at my husband’s family gathering and fell in love with it.

Ingredients:

3 apples, chopped
3 Snicker bars, chopped (or 9 fun size bars)
1 (8 oz) tub of Cool Whip

Chopping Snicker SaladChop the Snicker bars and apples into small pieces and add to serving bowl.

add the cool whipAdd the Cool Whip and mix until evenly distributed.

Snicker Salad RecipeAt our house the person who does the work gets to be the first to try it.  Enjoy!

We made the Snicker Salad for our Christmas Tree Decorating Party.  Yes, we actually got our Christmas tree up this year!  Woo hoo!  Photos from our party coming soon.  🙂
