Sharing a cup of Pumpkin Spice flavored coffee with my sweet girl draws us together with a warm, festive feel of the season!
I’m still trying to grasp that my eldest daughter Faith is twelve. How can that be when I feel like she was just born a few years ago? As the oldest of five children, she is a huge help around the house and with her siblings. Right now she is in that in between stage. She’s still my little girl, but each day I see how she is maturing and growing up.
Faith has been experiencing some sadness over friendships she feels she has lost. Oh how I understand those times of loneliness when it feels like everyone around has a close friend except you.
Having five children, I want each one of them to feel loved individually, not just as part of the group. It is important to me to get away with each child to spend some time loving on each one individually, but with my husband working so many hours lately it’s been hard to find time to get away.
Why not have a Mommy/Daughter date at home? Faith loves coffee so I knew she would love the Pumpkin Spice Coffee-Mate that I purchased especially to enjoy with her.
When the rest of the children were otherwise occupied, the two of us made a cup of Pumpkin Spice coffee.
Both of us tend to like a little coffee with our flavored creamers! Pumpkin Spice is the perfect flavor for the season!
We sipped out cups at the table over a card game and laughed and chatted like best friends, which of course we are! It was a great time to be able to talk about some of those issues that are bothering her without the other children listening in. We laughed and cried and drew closer together. I think next we’re going to have to try Peppermint!

Thanks for sharing such sweet moments. #client
What a nice idea! I have two little ones and I am realizing that I don’t take time to do much one on one with them. I think I’m going to start 🙂 #client
So sweet! They do grow up fast, don’t they? (Mine is only 4, but I still can’t believe she’s that old!)
It is great idea to have time with each child. My 13 year old son and I go running together when the younger boys are at boy scouts with dad
I remember how important ‘coffee’ time with my mom was. And, of course, we always had our favorite coffee mate there!
my mom and I did something similar last year during this season, it was a nice to treat to have a little brunch with her and I’m in my 30’s!
That is so sweet! I think it is important to carve that time out for your kids one on one!
I haven’t tried Pumpkin Spice yet but I am definitely going to!
My 7 year old gets up early on the weekends with me & we get to sit & enjoy some coffee together. Of course Pumpkin Spice is always a favorite!
pumpkin anything is good in my book! it’s nice you had some quiet time together.
Awww! Looks like a fun time, with some great memories to go with it! I love the pumpkin spice creamer! It’s my new morning addiction!
