As part of the SeaWorld Texas Wildside Bloggers I was invited to AdventureConJune 26-28 in San Antonio. Wondering what AdventureCon is? Why it’s a blog conference at SeaWorld!
Yesterday in sharing my AdventureCon experience I left off at Sea Lion High! I can’t even tell you how excited I was to see Sea Lion High. It is one of my absolute favorite shows at SeaWorld and we missed it when we were at SeaWorld Orlando last November.
The show is cuter and funnier than ever. Have you ever seen a walrus do sit ups? I have! Ha ha!
To my chagrin my husband was pretty well done in after a day at SeaWorld with the kids. “As soon as we’d sit down for a show, someone had to go to the bathroom!” he complained. All I could think to say was, “Welcome to my world!” I talked him out of going straight back to the hotel. We needed to eat supper, and I wanted to see at least a little more of SeaWorld before we called it a night. I had been looking forward to it all day.
“Fine,” he told me. He’d take me to Shamu. I pretty much swooned. “He knows me!” I thought. I absolutely love Shamu and was looking forward to the show, “A Shamu Story.” We walked and walked and walked and finally stopped. I was looking right smack dab at…

Looks like a day at SeaWorld with five kids and no wife did my husband completely in. 🙂 A new appreciation for his wife? Completely worth it! Next year, we may have to solicit a friend or family member to come hang out with Daddy at the park!
We left SeaWorld while the kids still had smiles on their faces knowing they would be back for a full day the next day. We grabbed snacks at the hotel provided by the conference and then put everyone to bed early. It would be an early morning the next day of packing up the hotel and heading to the park an hour and a half before opening…
