One of the things I love about the kids being able to go to a one day a week homeschool school is that they get to do things like participate in plays or musicals. This years program was really cute.
For the first time Faith had some speaking parts and she was so excited. She worked really hard and knew her lines backwards and forwards. She is very expressive. I would love to get her into a drama class. Her teachers acted very shocked, because she doesn’t talk a lot I guess.
Grace and Joy were in the choir. Unfortunately Joy was standing right behind Grace and I hardly ever got to see her. 🙁 Joy did have a duet but she uh…missed her cue. She ran up when it was almost over and got into a tug of war with the mike. It all happened so fast and was over that I didn’t even get a photo.
So I got a photo of the girls afterward. Can you guess what they are supposed to be? What? You didn’t immediately say sheep? Ha ha. I am NOT the DIY costume mom. I think we’ve established that, but after all these years of putting together cow costumes for Chick-fil-A day we figured sheep weren’t too different. Of course after 45 minutes of the girls running around in the back Grace went up on stage with cockeyed ears, but I thought it was cute!

If I remember correctly, this Christmas event didn’t have nearly as many mis-haps as a few years ago when your kid was in the choir…
