Day five of our Branson vacation we slept in a little. The first thing on the agenda was a Ride the Ducks tour at 11:00 am. Branson actually has two Ride the Ducks tours. We went on the Table Rock Adventure. If you’ve never heard of Ride the Ducks, as I hadn’t, it is a land AND water tour lasting about one hour.
Our driver/captain was fantastic. He was a master storyteller and kept us entertained and informed as we learned more about Branson and Ride the Ducks or DUKW.
The Ducks are made to resemble WWII DUKWs that were nicknamed “Ducks.” They can be driven on land and right into the water where they are fully equipped boats!
After driving around the Branson Entertainment District, over Table Rock Dam, up Baird Mountain, through Scenic Ozarks we arrived at the moment we had all been waiting for! We Splashed down into Table Rock Lake!
And then we were in the water! At the beginning of the tour everyone was given a quacker. The kids especially had fun with those as you can imagine!
On the lake the captain allowed each of the kids (and me) to take a turn driving the boat!
We all loved our tour and riding the Duck! It is perfect for the entire family! It was interesting, fun, and educational. The kids were kept on the edge of their seats waiting for the next time to blow their quackers. Being able to drive right into the lake is a one of a kind experience that we all loved.
When I asked around as to what I should do with my family, several people told me they thought my family would like Ride the Ducks. They were right. In fact, I left wanting to do it again. I’m sure that with each tour guide the experience is a little different.
Also, those quackers saved us money! We wore them into the restaurant for lunch and were given a discount!

That’s the Ducks tour we took, too. I LOVED IT!!!!!!! Glad you had fun. You’re making me want to go to Branson again! I don’t think I’m going to make it this year.
