Little Jason graduated preschool this week! Wow. That means I’ll officially be homeschooling four next year. Can I hire an assistant? I know people look at me a little funny when I tell them I homeschool and my kids go to preschool. Whaaaaat? As my kids have gone to homeschool communities and programs two days a week, my little boys have also attended a preschool two days a week. And they LOVE it! Well I guess Little Jason lovED it as it is now over for him. Really, he looked forward to it and counted down the days until he could go again. It was one of the highlights of week.
His teacher said something about each child as they went forward. What his teacher said about Little Jason was that he loves to make things and give them to friends or bring them home to give to family members. That is so true. He really loves to give things. I can’t hardly send him outside before he’s coming back in to bring me a flower. Hey Dandelions ARE beautiful! 🙂
As she talked about the children I breathed a sigh of relief that she didn’t comment on the parents. Like Little Jason’s Mom wins the least likely to clean out a folder, read what’s in it, or bring it back even! I couldn’t seem to remember the class parties. Oh and don’t forget the last to potty train her children award. That’s me! Hey I always said they won’t go to kindergarten in diapers and I’m four for four! 😉
This parenting thing has me a little nutty. Well, nuttier. I may not have it all together, but I love my Little Jason, and I’m so proud of him.
After the little ceremony there was fruit and pastries for all! What a fun celebration. I’m glad I remembered this one. Little Jason made sure to tell me it was a big deal and to bring my camera to take pictures of him!

Wow! That kid looks just like his dad. And, he’s gotten SO TALL!!!!!
