LEGOLAND invited us to come check out their new Pirate Beach! We always get excited when LEGOLAND adds a new attraction. I have to say I really did not imagine such a grand outdoor splash park.
I mean the only thing better than building with LEGOs is building with LEGOs outside in the sun and water! How fun is that!!!
Pirate Beach is geared for kids ages 3 to 10. My youngest is two, but getting really close to that 3 mark. My oldest is 13. Let me tell you, they all had a blast. Sometimes working together and other times running around and doing their own thing, they didn’t tire of the fun.
In fact I think they would have stayed there all day if I hadn’t told them that they weren’t going to have time to enjoy some of the other areas of the park if they didn’t quit soon. That’s really the only thing that got them out!
This was their masterpiece! Other kids joined in the fun. They gathered LEGO blocks from all over to make this castle! In the background are the little changing rooms. You have to bring a change of clothes for your children as they are not allowed back into the park if they are wet. One little girl wanted to play, and I was happy to share one of our swim diapers with her. Other kids that came unprepared missed out, so don’t forget your swimsuit, towel, and sun block! Pirate Beach is open through October!
