We had recently returned from a Florida road trip, had two weeks of Christmas activities at home, then had another whirlwind road trip down to South Texas to spend time with family. To say we were busy is a huge understatement. It was crazy. After that long trip to Florida, my husband said we HAD to get an oil change before the South Texas trip. This was, of course, the day before we left, and I had so much to do.
To save time and money I took my van in to the Automotive Care Center at Walmart. This way I could take the kids in with me to do some last minute shopping while my van was being taken care of. Win-win!
As I drove up a lady came to my window to help me. “What is the make and model?” she asked. Now I’m sure that is a perfectly legit question, but, “Uh…” was all I could muster! No problem! She found and looked up the information and had my van entered into the system in no time.
My van, bless her, is over 100,000 miles so the attendant recommended Pennzoil High Mileage Vehicle that helps to reduce leaks and oil consumption in worn or higher mileage engines. It’s a motor oil that is specifically designed for new or late model vehicles with over 75,000 miles, to help keep the engines running clean and going strong for a long time. I’m counting on that!
After giving the needed information the kids and I went on a fun Walmart shopping trip. Normally I would be taking advantage of the time and loading up with groceries, but we were leaving the next day for Grandpa and Grandma’s house. Now my parents love antiques and have, over the years, collected various nicknacks that they love to display. They are beautiful and irreplaceable! So I wanted to pick up some things that would give the children a quiet way to let their creative juices flow while at Grandma’s.
We filled up a box of arts and craft items that the kids all had input in choosing. Some wanted to draw and color on new, clean white paper and others wanted to make things. We picked up a variety!
The kids spent Christmas morning coloring and creating! I’m happy to announce the kids didn’t break anything…at Grandma’s house anyway!
They had a blast, and I was so glad that we had that extra time to shop at Walmart while we got our oil changed!
Pennzoil also offers a free warranty that covers 15 engine parts that may fail due to engine wear or which may experience abnormal wear due to friction. For more information, check out the Pennzoil Warranty Site.
How would you make use of the time you save by getting your shopping done at Walmart while keeping up your vehicle with Pennzoil at the Automotive Care Center?

Wow, it sounds like you guys have been super busy! I’m always looking to save a bit of time, and the Auto Center at Walmart will be my next stop when I need an oil change. Thanks for sharing! #client
