I’m sure you have missed my parent’s stories on the site. I know I have. There is a good reason they have not been posting much here. They went and started a blog of their own. Yep, it’s true, the rascals. Ha ha. Their site is Ensenando las Escrituras or Teaching the Scriptures would be the English translation. It is a Spanish ministry site, so if you can read Spanish check it out. I’m sure it will be a blessing! Now they are so busy writing for their own site that they have neglected us, but I guess it’s for a good cause. 🙂 Right now they are in Mexico visiting the church they started before I was born. They absolutely love to be there to teach and fellowship with the wonderful people. I stole this photo from a friend on Facebook who is there with them. 🙂
My earliest memories of church are right there in that room, sitting on benches exactly like those, and singing choruses to the guitar and accordion. Then when church was over came the multiple calls of, “Don’t run” as I had so much fun with my friends. Wow that was a long time ago, but looking at this photo just takes me back.
But I’m not just writing to tell you about my parents, my childhood, and the church in Mexico. While in Mexico my mom badly hurt her back and my dad got sick and ended up with the hiccups day and night for over three days. The hiccups finally stopped last night. I would very much appreciate your prayers for them. They have had to miss some of the ministry appointments, and I know that saddens them. Right now my mom is in so much pain she can’t stand up. Please pray for their recovery and their safe return trip next week. They are very much on my heart and prayers right now. Thanks y’all!

I’m praying for them!
Thank you so much Susan!
They are the very same benches, Esther.
