I have to tell you that ipad time is much coveted around here by my children. They do not think they get enough play time. I know, right? 🙂 But if they are going to be playing, I love for them to be creating and learning in the process. Don’t you? Mickey’s Magical Arts World Free App just became available in the App Store this week.
In Mickey’s Magical Arts World, children are invited to join Mickey and his friends as they explore a world of creative arts.
In Mickey’s Drawing World your child can draw to his heart’s content with crayons, markers, paint brushes…and never make a single mess. I love that! We learned how to draw a rainbow! Children can color, draw on their own, or follow prompts to learn something new.
Costume and Movies is our family’s absolute favorite section of the app. Children choose a star which determines which movie clip they will be in. Next they choose a character and dress them up including giving them most hilarious hair dos! Then they choose outfits and accessories. Now for more fun. The app records your child’s voice saying different things or making sounds depending on the clip that is chosen. When they are finish the character they made stars in animated movies alongside beloved Disney characters like Mickey and Minnie!
In the Materials section there is also ample fun to be had! Children choose a puppy, then have fun dipping it into various materials like confetti or nacho cheese! Then they can splash paint on it until they have the perfect creation!
Designing your own building is also a blast. My three year old gets the biggest kick out of placing and replacing windows and doors.
And finally, Music! I had so much fun watching Bobby create music and then sing along with it. He loves music and even recently came up with his own “I don’t like” song it went like this, “I don’t like bed time…strawberries (a bunch of stuff I couldn’t understand) diarrhea or shots! Cracked me up. It’s so fun to hear him inventing his own tunes. I tried to catch a video, but by the time I ran to get my camera he was through. Figures!
Use the Disney Imagicademy Parents app to easily monitor your child’s learning progress. With just a quick look you can see what children how children are learning and creating.
Now, it may look like Dad is showing everyone how to play, but don’t let this fool you. He actually took the ipad away from the kids and said, “Here, let me play!” Ha ha. We all want in on the action!
Download the free Disney iPad apps Mickey’s Magical Arts World and Disney Imagicademy Parents today and enjoy the fun at your house! It is free to download, but the app does offer in app purchases.
