One of the things I’d most looked forward to at Blissdom, a blogging conference I was able to attend a couple of weeks ago, was meeting in real life some of the people that I have met and worked with online.
Holly Hamann is Co-Founder and Chief Marketing Officer at TapInfluence, an Influencer Marketing Platform. All that to say that thanks to Holly and all the lovely people that work with her, I have received many blogging opportunities that have helped me realize so many of my dreams. If you are a blogger and would like to work with brands, make sure and sign up with TapInfluence! I was able to meet with Holly for a few minutes, and she actually knew who I was!! I also got to hear her speak–fun!
In the middle is Vanessa Bogehold who is Head of Influencer Development at TapInfluence. I have worked with Vanessa on many campaigns and have really enjoyed her. She is just as sweet and friendly in person! It was so fun to meet her!
On the right is Rachel, founder of Kids Activities Blog. Rachel is a friend of mine who actually talked me into blogging in the first place. It was fun to get to spend some time chatting with her! I don’t get to see her as often as I used to.
This is Shannon from Milk and Cuddles. I met Shannon online shortly after I first started blogging. She was so sweet and supportive of me from the very beginning of my blogging adventure. Her comments through the years have always encouraged me. I was so excited to meet her; we were already friends!
At the very beginning of the first day at Blissdom, I was at the Meet and Greet social. Walking around meeting people all of a sudden Heather and I looked at each other and she said, “I know you. I give you your prizes!” Of course, I knew who she was right away. Heather from Sprittibee also blogs for the Home School Post and I have been in contact with Heather because of the prize distribution after winning the Funniest Homeschool Blog–woo hoo.
Besides these I met so many wonderful bloggers, some new to me, and some who I am familiar with online. These were the only photos I took! I get so caught up in the moments that I don’t even think to take out my camera! For me, meeting so many neat people was the best part of going to Blissdom!

I think that would be the MOST fun Esther!! Meeting those wonderful friends in person that we have met online..LIKE YOU!! 🙂 Maybe someday! 🙂
